Sami Zayn Reveals What It Requires To Become A WWE Star

In 2015 he joined the main roster but he had never been treated as a main event star in WWE in spite of being vastly talented. He had always been a mid card wrestler, and sometimes he had also been treated as a lower mid card. He won the WWE Intercontinental Championship three times in total and that is the only Championship he won in WWE main roster.

Recently he got involved in a storyline with the Bloodline which is the biggest faction in WWE right now. This storyline has reignited his fame among the WWE universe. Right now he is one of the most famous stars in WWE and there are even talks that WWE is considering him to win the WWE World Championship in the near future after seeing his recent popularity. He definitely deserves better than what he had been throughout his WWE main roster career.

Sami Zayn who is also a former WWE NXT champion recently spoke to the After The Bell podcast where he talked about the requirements that are needed to become a WWE superstar. Sami is currently involved in a storyline with the Bloodline. He said;

“It’s putting your heart into whatever you’re doing, it’s full commitment to whatever you’re doing. Again, going back to the [Johnny] Knoxville thing, it’s one of those things where maybe you could have put someone else in the role, I don’t know. I kind of like to think that it had to be me for it to work the way it did but it’s putting 100 percent commitment into it that that’s what makes it work.

“I remember Chris Hero, years ago, years ago, for some reason, this stuck in my head. We were talking about the idea of maybe one day getting to WWE when we were both on the independents and he said — and this applies to Kevin [Owens] too because we were talking about, ‘Yeah, you need these qualities and you need to possess this and this and this to make it in WWE.’

“He’s like, ‘Well here’s the thing, up until this point in your career, you have been the exception, not the rule and so there’s no reason to think that won’t carry on. That you won’t continue to be an exception rather than the rule.”
