Manchester United, after yet another unimpressive season took drastic steps by brining in the Portuguese maestro Jose Mourinho in place of Louis van Gaal for the next season.

And it comes as no surprise that that new manager at Old Trafford wants to get some of the top class talents in Europe to the club this season.

The Red Devils have all but sealed the signature of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the last week and are now set to make an audacious bid for one of the top transfer targets.

Paul Pogba, the French midfielder who was sold away from the club by Sir Alex Ferguson in his time has now grown on to become one of the best midfielders in the world at the moment. He helped Juventus to yet another Serie A title last season and is an important part of France’s adventure in the EUROs.

He is a player who is reportedly on the radar of a number of top class European clubs but it is now rumored that the 23-year old is subject to a transfer bid from the Old Trafford outfit very soon.

French news outlet L’Equipe carried a small picture of the French midfielder with three words ‘Mourinho veut Pogba’ which translates to ‘Mourinho wants Pogba’.

It is not a hidden fact that the former Chelsea boss is a long-term admirer of the 23-year and failed several times in his bid to lure him to Chelsea in his time at Stamford Bridge.

However, with Manchester United set to make a complete overhaul of the squad, Paul Pogba is reportedly high on the wishlist for Mourinho.

He is expected to play Wayne Rooney and Paul Pogba behind a strike force of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Anthony Martial and Henrikh Mkhitaryan making United one of the strongest line-ups in the domestic circuit.

L’Equipe also dedicated an entire page to this link and revealed that though the Red Devils will not offer Champions League football next season, the player’s excitement to unite with and play under Jose Mourinho might help the side complete the deal this summer.

It went on to claim that the English outfit are readying a bid for the player in the coming week.

However, it also revealed that the Italian outfit are not ready to sell the midfielder for anything less than a 100 million euros, a price at which the midfielder is valued by the club.

However, it remains to be seen if Pogba, who was considered surplus to requirements at the club before is ready to wear the badge once again.
