Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle who is a former six times World champion in WWE recently talked about Chris Jericho being a WWE star and the Olympic gold medalist said the former six times world champion would have been with WWE for life.
Chris Jericho joint WWE back in 1999 and he had been a lifelong WWE star. He was one of the longest serving WWE stars and there is no doubt that he was of the most famous WWE stars ever. He had been a six times WWE World Champion and a record nine times Intercontinental Champion.

But the relationship between WWE and Jericho got hampered in 2017. Throughout the year 2016 and the early part of 2017, Kevin Owens and Jericho built up an excellent storyline which was the supposed to lead to WrestleMania 33 for a World Championship match between this duo.
The storyline was executed amazingly and all credits went to Kevin Owens and Jericho. The Y2J game of with new ideas to promote the storyline like the List of Jericho which became extremely popular. But just before WrestleMania 33, WWE suddenly decided to remove the World Championship picture and give the title to Goldberg who was a part timer.

The match between Kevin Owens and Jericho was now for the WWE United States Championship. Jericho was the highly disappointed with this decision. He then asked for their match to be the first match of the night, which was also not given to them. Ultimately, Jericho went on to leave WWE forever.
Kurt Angle who is a former six times World champion in WWE recently spoke on his Kurt Angle Show Podcast talked about Chris Jericho being a WWE star and the Olympic gold medalist said the former six times world champion would have been with WWE for life. He said;

“I thought Chris Jericho was gonna be a WWE lifer. I never thought he’d ever leave. He left before and I think he went to Japan, but never really signed with another company, at least not since he was in WCW. He was in WWE for the longest time and I never thought he’d leave and go to another company.”
“Regardless, Chris Jericho is a huge star,” Angle said. “He should always be in the main event, and he should be winning a lot of matches. It’s not like he’s past his prime. He’s still going as well as he ever has, and as long as he’s doing that you need to continue to push him.”
