Manchester United defeated Newcastle 2-0 to win the Carabao Cup last weekend, earning them their first trophy since 2017 and also the maiden one under Erik ten Hag’s regime. As a bonus for their team’s triumph in the Carabao Cup final, stars like Marcus Rashford and Casemiro have already made almost £65,000 each. And now the players’ focus will be on additional bonuses, should they lead the Red Devils to a quadruple.
United are realistically competing for a quadruple now, having already won one of the four trophies available for them this season. Post their Carabao Cup triumph, Manchester United are also alive and kicking in the FA Cup, Europa League and are close to challenge for the Premier League title alongside Arsenal and Manchester City.

Manchester United players staring at more bonuses if quadruple is achieved
Manchester United’s resurrection under Ten Hag has been extraordinary, with the club going from losing their first two games of the season to now sit third in the Premier League table, 11 points behind leaders Arsenal and six behind reigning champions Manchester City with a game in hand. And should they achieve an unprecedented quadruple in the history of the club, United players would receive incentives of around £500,000 each.
According to Sportsmail, there will be further incentives worth £85,000 per player for winning both the FA Cup and the Europa League. United are currently in the FA Cup quarterfinals and last 16 of the Europa League. The largest bonus, though, would be £250,000 if they were to overtake Premier League leaders Arsenal and win their first title in ten years despite being 11 points behind them.
If everything won, that would bring the bonus total to £485,000 per-man. A cup treble is a definite possibility given Erik ten Hag’s turnaround, especially since the first trophy is already secured thanks to the 2-0 victory over Newcastle. United are is second in the FA Cup betting odds behind Manchester City and are the favourites for the Europa League. They also have a league game in hand over City and Arsenal, and if they finish in the top four, the players would still be eligible for a large chunk of £250,000.

Even if Old Trafford is in a happy mood, Ten Hag has downplayed his team’s chances of winning all four trophies. Admitting that his team’s attention is solely on the upcoming match and labelling those as ‘dreamers’ who think the team might conclude the season with four major titles in the bag. The Dutchman, told Sky Sports:
“We are not talking about that, we are talking about the next game [vs Liverpool] and it is a big game. It is a good game and we are really excited to play this game. That is for dreamers [talk of winning a quadruple], that is for fans. It is nice but it is not for us [to think about] and the players know that, they are so experienced they don’t get distracted from beautiful dreams. Maybe you can dream but we don’t.”
