Chennai is known as the second home of the former Indian skipper Ms Dhoni who has been playing for the franchise since 2008. Chepauk has been the fortress for CSK over the years and it is difficult for visiting team to beat them.

In a video released by the CSK franchise on social media, the former India skipper could be seen practising under the lights at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.MS Dhoni was recently seen bowling ahead of the IPL 2023 season. The camp of CSK for IPL 2023 has begun recently and the likes of Shivam Dube and Ambati Rayudu were seen practising along with their skipper Ms Dhoni.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 schedule is out with Chennai Super Kings facing Gujarat Titans in the opening match on March 31. This time the IPL will be played again at home and away with MS Dhoni playing in Chennai for the CSK after three years. Chennai Super Kings will have their first home game on 3rd April when they face Lucknow Super Giants at Chepauk.
MS Dhoni Said He Enjoyed My Commentary – Dinesh Karthik
“I enjoyed the commentary. Very, very good. Well done,” MS Dhoni said on Karthik’s commentary stint.
Dinesh Karthik and Ms Dhoni have played for India since 2004. Karthik was part of Ms Dhoni’s last international match against New Zealand where India suffered a heartbreaking defeat in the semifinal of the 2019 world cup.
Karthik, who has not been a part of the national squad since the T20 World Cup, would next be seen in the IPL for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He would look to win the maiden title for RCB in 2023. Royal Challengers will play their first match against Mumbai Indians on April 2 in Bangalore.
