Victor Osimhen has put Manchester United and Chelsea on alert with his most recent remarks about his future. The Nigerian striker is currently enjoying his best season with Napoli, netting a staggering 19 goals in 21 Serie A games helping the club sit atop of the table with a commanding 15-point lead over second-placed Inter Milan. With already a host of clubs keeping an eye on him, Osimhen’s exceptional exploits this season have reportedly made a summer move imminent for him.
United and Chelsea are said to be firmly interested in acquiring Victor Osimhen in the summer, with the 24-year-old himself dropping a massive hint over his next move. And as a result, the fans of both United and Chelsea have gone into a meltdown. The two English clubs need a number-9 upfront to lead their attack, and along with other targets, Osimhen has emerged as a priority man.
Victor Osimhen ‘dreams’ of playing in the Premier League
Victor Osimhen is being regarded as the most important part of their system this season by Napoli, who are within touching distance of winning their first Scudetto since the 1986/87 season. However, with many clubs already dreaming about how far they might rise with Osimhen’s goals for them in the upcoming season, Napoli will have a difficult time keeping the striker as well as some of their best players this summer.

A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I’m in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A. I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day but like I said, it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well.”
Osimhen’s comments have excited both the United and Chelsea fans, who have urged their respective clubs to poach the striker in the summer.
A United fan said: “We should not bottle this.”
Another called: “In the summer we’ll make your dream come true.”
Meanwhile, a Chelsea fan reminded: “We desperately want a No9 and have owners who will break the bank. Seems inevitable.”
Another added: “United are a problem but we have agent Drogba.”
However, Napoli are hesitant to sell Victor Osimhen despite their history of making large profits at the right time. The fact that they might lose a host of key players in the summer has made them reluctant to entertain offers for the Nigerian.
