IPL 2023 is less than a month away. The much-anticipated sixteenth edition of the competition is scheduled to begin on March 31 with a clash between defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The upcoming season will be a special one as the tournament will return to its traditional home-and-away format in India for the first time since 2019. The last three seasons could not be played in the traditional format due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The opening week will see all the ten teams in action. Following the opener between CSK and GT, Punjab Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in Mohali, and Lucknow Super Giants will play Delhi Capitals in Lucknow on April 1. On the third day of IPL 2023, Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns against Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad, and Royal Challengers Bangalore will play Mumbai Indians in Bengaluru.
