Jurgen Klopp extends contract with Liverpool as fans go crazy on Twitter 1

The Red of Merseyside are one of the busiest clubs in the English Premier League this summer.

The fans of the club felt that signing Jurgen Klopp last season was the best piece of business the club has done since signing Luis Suarez.

This summer the manager has bought in the likes of Joel Matip, Loris Karius, Sadio Mane and Marko Grujic and this has not really got the fans excited ahead of the next season.

However, the twitter feed of every Liverpool fan today was buzzing with only one news:  The German manager has now agreed to extend his stay at the club.

Yes, less than a year after signing a three-year contract with the Anfield outfit, the German manager Jurgen Klopp has now reportedly signed a new 6-year contract that binds him to the club till 2022.

Klopp’s senior backroom staff who followed him from Borussia Dortmund, Zeljko Buvac, and Peter Krawietz, have also signed extensions the reports revealed.

It’s hard to express in words how honoured myself, Zeljko and Peter feel by the commitment shown in us by the ownership and the club in general,” said Klopp, talking to the media in a press conference after signing the new deal.

“We are very much at the beginning of our journey, but to already have the connection we have with this very special place is incredible,” he added.
