This week’s RAW started as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn came to the arena together. Footage from last week’s SmackDown was shown where Sami Zayn got attacked by The Usos and Kevin Owens saved his best friend. At the end, the duo finally hugged it out.
Sami Zayn said that he was constantly telling Kevin Owens to get on the same page just to take down the Bloodline. He admitted that he is whole approach was wrong. Owens said that he had always been Sami’s biggest fan, and it really hurt him when he saw Sami in Bloodline. Sami said since they are finally back together, it was time for the ultimate thing and they both looked at the WrestleMania sign.
WWE RAW 20.03.2023 Results & Ratings Part 1
WWE Undisputed Tag Team champions The Usos interfered. Jey Uso reminded them that Sami and Owens called themselves families but how many times they backstabbed each other. Sami said that Jey’s biggest dream had always been backstabbing Roman Reigns.
Jimmy Uso said that they might be talking about WrestleMania but nothing is happening at WrestleMania. Owens say that things are definitely going to happen at WrestleMania and they challenged The Usos for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team championships at WrestleMania 39. Finally, the moment that we were all waiting for.
At first, Jimmy Uso said that they are would be no Tag Team Championship against them at WrestleMania 39 since the Usos are the best Tag Team Champions ever and they stood no chance against them. But Jey accepted the challenge by saying they would finish the problem once and for all. The Usos attacked Sami and Owens at the end of the segment but the fan favourite side came out stronger and the Tag Team Champions escaped.
Match 1 – Austin Theory defeated Montez Ford
The first match of the night was booked for five and a half minutes only and it had been an entertaining match. Montez Ford had been pretty impressive and he was pretty athletic in the early part of the match but Theory got the control of the match at the end he pinned Ford with A Town Down.
After the match on RAW, Austin Theory said that Montez Ford did not believed him and now he believe him as he made him do it. John Cena did not believe in him so he would make him believe in him at WrestleMania 39 and he pointed at the WrestleMania sign.
Backstage on RAW Roman Reigns was sitting in his local room along with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa. The Usos joined them. Roman said that it was not a very good start of the night. Jimmy said that they would take their Revenge from Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 39.
Roman Reigns then asked the rest of the Bloodline to leave the locker room except for Jey Uso. After they left he asked Jey if he was still Bloodline and if he was still with them. Jey said that he was totally Bloodline and he would always with them. Roman then asked him to leave. Paul Heyman asked Roman Reigns if he got the answers he was looking for, Roman said that he did.
Match 2 – Omos defeated Mustafa Ali
This match was squash and everyone can guess it. It was booked for even less than 1 minute and Mustafa Ali got absolutely squashed in this match. Omos pinned Ali with the Two Handed Chokeslam. Before the match they showed a long video promo of the of the upcoming Brock Lesnar vs Omos clash at WrestleMania 39.
Next up on RAW was the Impaulsive TV talkshow with Logan Paul being the host. He cut a good heel promo where he said that no matter what he did the fans would never acknowledge him so he did not care about them anymore. He also did a good job to frustrate the home crowd.
Then he talked about his WrestleMania 39 opponent Seth Rollins and he made fun of him for knocking him out two weeks ago. While talking on the mic, the mic got cut which give us CM Punk’s pipebomb vibe. Rollins was seen on the technical room who was responsible for cutting logans mic.
After cutting a short promo Seth Rollins came out to the arena. He slowly made his entrance and entered the ring. It looked like he was going to cut another promo but he attacked Logan Paul and the duo broke into a fight. The fight went on for quite a little time and the officials had to come out to stop them.
Match 3 – Dominik Mysterio defeated Johnny Gargano
This match on RAW was booked for nine minutes and it was a pretty good match. Surprisingly it was a clean win for Dominik Mysterio. They should be on going rivalry between Johnny Gargano and Greyson Waller from the NXT and also showed that Johnny Gargano was not on his 100% before heading towards this match. Dominik pinned Gargano with a Frog Splash on his back.
After the match, Dominik addressed his father once again and loathed him for not accepting his challenge for WrestleMania. He said that the whole Mysterio of family will be on SmackDown this week and he would make his father accept his challenge on SmackDown when he would ask permission to his mother.
