Georgina Rodriguez spoke candidly about her first encounter with Cristiano Ronaldo, as she admitted that she was ’embarrassed’ to directly look at the global superstar. Rodriguez met Ronaldo while working as a shop assistant in a Gucci store in Madrid. She recalls their first meeting at the store, when she remained there for an additional three hours as the football player entered the shop after working hours.
Cristiano Ronaldo and the 29-year-old model are now partners and have two children together. Since January 2017, the couple, who first started dating in 2016, have gone public. The fact that Georgina gave birth to a baby girl in 2017—the Portugal star’s fourth child—profoundly underscored the fact that this is Ronaldo’s first major relationship since splitting from Irina Shayk in 2015. The pair then revealed that they were having twins in 2021.

“He’s such a handsome man. When I saw him he was so handsome I felt embarrassed to look at him. I was finally able to leave the shop to go home three hours later than I should have and as I was getting ready to leave Cristiano came in with his eldest son and some friends. Let’s just say it was butterflies in my stomach.
“His height, his body, his beauty caught my attention. I was trembling in front of him, but a spark ignited. I am very shy and perhaps this stirred me more in front of a person who, with one glance, had touched me deeply. Then after, the way Cristiano treats me, cares for me and loves me did the rest.
“Cristiano is marvelous. He’s a wonderful father, a wonderful son, brother, friend and partner, boss and employee because he’s an employee as well. He’s fantastic in every sense of the word.”
After they began to be photographed together in public in late 2016, the couple’s relationship has developed steadily. Since then, Rodriguez has been to Ronaldo’s games at Real Madrid, Juventus, Portugal, Manchester United and now Al Nassr. She has also attended the FIFA awards ceremonies alongside Ronaldo’s mother, sisters, and his son as a part of the family.
