Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg who is the former three times WWE World Champion recently talked about The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and shared massive praise for him. The former WCW World Heavyweight Championship that Roman is quite dedicated to wrestling.
Roman Reigns is working in WWE for more than a decade and he is rightfully the current face of the promotion. As soon as Vince McMahon saw him he decided to make him the face of the promotion. However, the journey to build him as the face of the promotion was never easy.
Goldberg Shares Massive Praise For Roman Reigns And Says He Is Quite Dedicated
The WWE fans were not ready at all to accept him as the face of the promotion. No matter what he did or how good the bookings were for him, the fans continuously booed him and totally loathed him. He fought really hard to get into the position he is in today.
At the Payback pay per view event, Roman Reigns won the WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship and since then he never dropped the title. At WrestleMania 38 he also won the WWE championship and he is carrying both titles at the same time.
Giving him both titles and having in champion for nearly 3 years makes it quite clear that how much obsessed WWE is with the Tribal Chief. No face of WWE ever received such a royal treatment before. He is indeed the biggest attraction of WWE today.
Goldberg who is the former three times WWE World Champion recently spoke to Sports Illustrated where he talked about The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and shared massive praise for him. The former WCW World Heavyweight Championship that Roman is quite dedicated to wrestling. He said;
“I’m really proud of him. I’ve dealt with some of that negativity, and it’s tough. You go out there, you work your ass off, and at the end of the day, you want to be appreciated. He’s quite dedicated. I respect that, I respect him, and I’d love to get in the ring and give him an ass-kicking, but this is his time.
“Paul’s amazing. It’s hard to believe that one person could have such a tremendous effect on the business, both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, but that’s Paul Heyman. He’s a gem; he really is. He knows the craft up and down, inside and out. I’m greatly appreciative to have been part of his plan.”
