WWE NXT star and a former two times WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Gigi Dolin who is a former member of the Toxic Attraction recently looked back at her difficult childhood and climbed herself to be a Romani child Gypsy.

Gigi Dolin had been an Indy sensation who started her professional wrestling career in 2015 at a very young age. She worked on the independent circuit for six years before joining WWE in 2021. She started working on the NXT after joining WWE, needless to say, NXT is the development territory of WWE.

She also participated in the Mae Young Classic tournament before getting the professional contract from WWE in 2021. She worked as a solo performer for a short amount of time before forming a stable with Mandy Rose and Jacy Jayne. Together the trio was famously known as Toxic Attraction.

They had been pretty successful at long as they worked as the members of Toxic Attraction. Gigi won the WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship two times along with Jacy Jayne. After Mandy Rose departed from WWE, they continued their Tag Team. But recently, Jacy Jayne betrayed Gigi and both of them are working solo right now.

Gigi Dolin who is a former member of the Toxic Attraction recently spoke to Busted Open Radio where she looked back at her difficult childhood and climbed herself to be a Romani child Gypsy. Here is what she had to say;

“Wrestling, this is taboo for how I was raised. I came up in a culture where the women didn’t have jobs. They didn’t marry or date outside of the culture. They were taken out of public school. I wasn’t really allowed to have friends or go out and hang out with people. Doing what I do is taboo in itself.

“I am a Romani child gypsy. I grew up living an old school strict lifestyle. It’s an interesting lifestyle because I was sheltered growing up until I found wrestling, and I left home when I turned 18. I slept on couches, in cars, and I didn’t have money or have my parents in my life at that time.

“They were both dealing with addiction and issues like that growing up. I’ve been through the ringer. To be able to see where I came out of that is amazing. That’s why I’m so determined to give my brother this incredible life because he’s 11 years younger than me. He kind of got the trailing end of childhood without me in the picture to take him away from that. My goal in wrestling is to give him this incredible life.”
