WWE Raw star and a former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes who is also the winner of the men’s Royal Rumble match of 2023 recently revealed that he was keeping eye on two of the youngest stars of the AEW, Julia Hart and Lee Johnson. He also revealed why he was keeping eye on them.

Cody Rhodes made his return to WWE after his long six years of absence from the promotion. He was never treated as a main event star throughout his professional wrestling career before. For the first time in his career he is finally being treated as the main event star.

Cody Rhodes Reveals Why He Is Keeping Eye On Julia Hart And Lee Johnson

He returned to WWE as the surprise opponent of Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38. He had a series of matches the formal four times WWE World Champion and in all matches he snatched the victory. But just before Hell in a Cell pay per view event he pick up a big injury which sidelined him from action for over 8 months.

He finally made his returned at the Royal Rumble pay view event and participated in the men’s Royal Rumble match to win the whole thing. At WrestleMania 39 he challenged Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Championship and it was the biggest match of his career.

Cody Rhodes who is also the winner of the men’s Royal Rumble match of 2023 recently spoke to Good Karma Wrestling where he revealed that he was keeping eye on two of the youngest stars of the AEW, Julia Hart and Lee Johnson. He also revealed why he was keeping eye on them. He said;

“I’m very proud of Julia (Hart) because Julia came from the Nightmare Factory camps. So that’s like the question that anybody’s gonna ask, hey, how’s your school? Has anyone done anything? And we can name a few people who had experience already.

“But really she came from camp two, did the thing with the Varsity Blonds but she just took advantage of every opportunity she found. She was just hitting home runs and even maximizing her minutes and even small segments, big segments, whatever it might be. Just very proud.

“I keep an eye on her and Lee (Johnson) from a distance. You give to them and one thing I’ve learned as a coach and such and even my role within management, give without expecting anything back. There are people who I hired and my wife hired that don’t even remember us anymore and that’s okay. You give without expecting to get back.”
