Damage CTRL made interference next on Smackdown. You might think that this would be a promotion for Iyo Sky as the opponent for Bianca Belair tomorrow at Backlash on pay per view, but not exactly. Here, Bayley bragged more about herself of how she helped Bianca to climb the top of the mountain and all.
Of course there were talks about Iyo Sky in this promo but they were not enough to present her as a legit competitor for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship tomorrow. It was certainly not enough that the fans would start her taking seriously against an opponent like Bianca.

But it all might be a part of the storyline that Bayley just could not stop bragging about herself. In spite of promoting her own partner, she is talking about herself only. Maybe this is a further build up for a future Damage CTRL vs. Bayley feud. If this is the case then we are completely okay with the promo of Bayley. But we are still not convinced about the promo of Bianca.
Bayley also made herself clear that she wanted to take the Women’s Tag Team titles away from Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan once Iyo Sky took the RAW Women’s championship away from Bianca tomorrow. Bayley also took a shot on Michael Cole which was arguably the best part of the promo.
After the promo, Damage CTRL surrounded Bianca Belair and climbed on the apron. The trio attacked Bianca all together but Bianca was managing to fight back. She could not manage to continue fight all three women at the same time as Damage CTRL got the best out of her. It was Iyo, of course, who cracked her first.
As all three members of Damage CTRL was beating down Bianca Belair, WWE Women’s Tag Team champions Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan came out to save her. You might think that a six women tag team match might get announced next, but no such thing happened. That was all for women on this week’s SmackDown.
Next up, a pre taped footage was a shown where Karrion Kross and Scarlett were seen. In this promo, Kross talked about his match against Shinsuke Nakamura that would take place tonight. The promo was good, Kross did a good job hyping of the match.
Next of was another tag team match where the Street Profits took on Imperium. But before the match, they should footage from last week’s SmackDown where The Usos challenged Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed Tag Team championships. A long footage of that match was shown. It was mostly shown to hyped the six man tag team match that is scheduled for tomorrow.
