Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green were seen backstage on RAW asking people to sign their petition so that they could get another shot at the Women’s Tag Team titles. Some people signed their petition but the one that refused to sign the petition was Indi Hartwell. We got to see a reunion of the famous NXT faction “The Way” here. Hopefully, they would be as exciting on RAW as they were in the NXT.
Zoey Stark and Nikki Cross had their match next and it was a pretty short match. Zoey Stark got her first victory in the main roster and that also came on main roster debut match. Zoey Stark is pretty talented and she definitely deserves a great push. We hope to see her as the champion in the near future.

But what happened to Nikki Cross? It looked like she would be given her big push back after they restored her psycho gimmick. She was one of the final four athletes in the Royal Rumble match, she was even competing inside WarGames. And now she is just a jobber? This is where the question comes into the mind, when you have such young talents in your roster and they are getting buried, why are you still putting Natalya in the title picture?
Backstage Byron Saxton interviewed WWE SmackDown Women’s champion Rhea Ripley where she was asked if she was feeling any kind of pressure of being the first draft pick of Night 2. Before she could answer properly, Xavier Woods and Akira Tozawa interrupted them to make fun of them. At the end, Woods ended up challenging Dominik Mysterio which Dom Dom accepted.
Trish Stratus was seen backstage on RAW spreading missing pictures of Becky Lynch. A little later she came out to the ring and she started making fun of “The Man.” She played a fake entrance music of Becky Lynch to fool everyone as nobody arrived. This was the reminder of the older days of WWE. These type of cooling things do not happen much these days.
But Becky Lynch finally joined the frame as she is too behind Trish Stratus. As soon as Trish turned her face, Becky attacked her and started beating her down. Trish somehow escaped the beating as she left the ring after receiving The Bexploder. No match had been announced between the duo yet, but we are expecting to see a match between these two women at Night of Champions.
This was definitely a good promo and Trish Stratus has already proved what she still could do as a heel. This run of the WWE Hall of Famer was pretty unexpected and it was pretty difficult to predict that she would be ready you play such a character at this stage of her career. We wonder how long she would be working in WWE.
Next up was the match between Dominik Mysterio and Xavier Woods. It was a proper babyface vs heel match. It might not have been the best match of the night but it was pretty fun to watch. Rhea Ripley pulled Dominik out of the ring when Woods attempted a Flying Elbow Drop, and Dominik quickly pinned him by holding him in a Small Package Hold.
