After earlier claiming he wouldn’t, Erling Haaland has admitted how ’embarrassing’ his video gaming preferences truly are. Haaland is utterly interesting both on and off the pitch. The Norwegian is so fascinating, whether it’s his ability to score close to 60 goals in a single season, his ideal sleeping routine or the fact that he increased pants sales.
Although the fans have only had a year to get to know him in the Premier League, they have already witnessed a tremendous amount of his potential. One after another, records have been smashed by Erling Haaland, and he has been doing to with an ease. But the Norwegian’s life off the pitch is as much interesting.

Erling Haaland spills the beans on his ’embarrassing’ game on social media
Despite the fact that fans already know a lot about Erling Haaland’s life, he has so far declined to reveal the name of the video game he likes to play. Haaland acknowledged playing his fair share of video games in an interview with Sky Sports. After being questioned about his prospects of surpassing Dixie Dean’s 1928 record of 61 goals in all competitions, the Man City star admitted his passion in the pastime. He told the news outlet:
“Now I’m going to sleep on this game and then I wake up tomorrow and think about trying to get three points here against Leeds. It will not be easy with a new manager and everything but we cannot keep thinking about these records.
“I will become crazy in my head so I don’t think of this. I will go home now and play some video games – I cannot say which games – it’s too embarrassing, eat something, and then sleep.”
However, Erling Haaland has now revealed that he enjoys playing the video game Minecraft after earlier stating he was reluctant to talk about his favourite games. On Friday night, he posted a picture of himself playing the game on social media. Haaland is not the only professional player who enjoys playing video games to unwind, but few of them talk about their Minecraft creations.

After a crazy night of celebrating their World Cup victory at the end of the previous year, Argentina’s stars played a game of FIFA 23 at six in the morning. Others choose to unwind by tackling the demanding task of running a football team in Football Manager, with Antoine Griezmann one of the game’s most well-known players.
Meanwhile, in their last home game of the season on Sunday afternoon against Chelsea, City will win the Premier League title, their third in a row and fifth in last six years if they prevail. Lampard and his teammates must figure out how to stop Pep Guardiola’s rogue team – including Erling Haaland.
The 22-year-old has helped Manchester City’s chances of winning the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup by scoring 52 goals in all competitions this season. Since Sir Alex Ferguson did it 24 years ago, Manchester United is the only Premier League side in history to accomplish that feat in the same season.
