WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns opened this week’s Smackdown along with his enforcer Solo Sikoa and special counsel Paul Heyman. He addressed the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn before his big match on the next PLE.
In case you missed it, Roman Reigns is scheduled to team up with his cousin Solo Sikoa to challenge for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions PLE. If Roman wions this match, he is going to hold four championships at a time. No wrestler ever in WWE ever won four titles at once before.
Smackdown – Roman Reigns Reigns Supreme: How He Expertly Trolled Sami Zayn
Last week on Smackdown, Roman announced that he would be challenging for the Tag Team titles at Night of Champions along with Solo Sikoa. This announcement actually upset his cousins The Usos who were expecting another Tag Team title shot. But Roman wanted to took matters in his own hands.
This week, Roman Reigns opened the episode of Smackdown where he confronted the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. He addressed both of them and also remembered his matches with these two stars. Roman defeated both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber PLEs.
Sami Zayn Responded To Roman Reigns By Saying He Should Have Attacked Him Earlier
During this segment, Roman addressed Sami Zayn and shared his regret by saying, “I only have one regret & that’s wasting my life on you!” In reply Sami said that he also had a regret that he should have hit Roman with that steel chair much earlier before Royal Rumble.
Sami Zayn had been a member of the Bloodline for a number of months. This was the time period when Sami became the most famous wrestler of WWE. He never achieved so much fan support in his WWE career before. The Bloodline storyline throughout the months had been the best part of the wrestling world.
Sami Zayn betrayed Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble and at WrestleMania 39, he teamed up with his old friend Kevin Owens to beat the Usos and take away the Tag Team titles. They would face Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at Night of Champions and this is going to be one of the three main events of the night.
