On May 19, 2023, WWE taped not one but two shows of Smackdown. They presented two back to back shows, one of them was already aired and the other part would be aired next week on May 26th. This happened since WWE has to travel to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia next week for their Night of Champions PLE.

Next week the show would open with a match between WWE United States Champion Austin Theory and Sheamus. It is not confirmed if the match was scheduled for the title. The match was won by Austin Theory as Pretty Deadly interfered and assisted Theory towards a big victory.

WWE Smackdown Spoilers & Results For May 26, 2023 Show

Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi teamed up to take on the team of Bayley and Iyo Sky who represented Damage CTRL. Once again, Damage CTRL lost the match and the inner tension of the faction increased. The Damage CTRL split is definitely closing in.

Cameron Grimes wrestled his second main roster match and this time he battled Ashante Adonis who is one half of the Hit Row faction. Cameron Grime picked up the victory in this match and after the match he was attacked by Baron Corbin.

Next on Smackdown, Bianca Belair had a segment where she addressed her opponent at Night of Champions Asuka. During the promo, The Empress of Tomorrow Asuka attacked Bianca Belair but this time the champion fought back.

LA Knight faced Rick Boogs next where Knight picked up the victory. The match was teased on this week’s Smackdown after Knight attacked Boogs after their tag team defeat. The Street Profits was present on the commentary table during this one on one match and after the match, Knight grabbed a mic and addressed the Street Profits.

AJ Styles defeated Karrion Kross on Smackdown next. This match was also teased this week where Kross addressed Styles in a backstage segment. Styles needed to win this match to make the upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match look strong.

On the main event segment of the night, Kevin Owens hosted the KO Show with Roman Reigns and the Bloodline was the special guests. At the end of the show, Bloodline beat down both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn and that would be it next week’s Smackdown.
