This match did an excellent job to build Cena as a future megastar. It took only one year for WWE to put the World title on Cena’s waist. John Cena Defeated The Big Show At WrestleMania XX To Win The United States Championship
John Cena was recently asked a bunch of questions by some fans at a “92NY” event where he was asked about Big Show’s contributions to his career. The 46 year old shared gratitude for the future WWE Hall of Famer. Here is what the former sixteen times WWE World Champion had to say;
“Just the moments that he would open up as a human being,” Cena said of Big Show “He is a kind and gentle giant, a giving giant. He was very much responsible, he was one of the few supporters of me when no one else would bet on me. We’ve had great conversations over the years, and those are some of my favorite moments — when you get to talk to Paul.”

There are also other wrestlers like Randy Orton and Edge who did some amazing jobs to build John Cena as the biggest star of the Ruthless Aggression Era of WWE. Any wrestler that becomes a megastar needs to use so many steps to climb the ladder of success. Much like the others, Cena had a lot of wrestlers involved with his name.
