This week’s RAW started as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins came out to the arena. He started his promo by saying that finally Monday Night RAW has a champion who is ready to defend his title regularly. He also promise that he would appear every week on RAW. He was clearly criticizing Roman Reigns.
AJ Styles made an interference. He confronted Rollins and said that he knew that he was supposed to be on SmackDown as he was drafted over there but he could not resist himself from coming here to say congratulations to the new champion. He also said that Rollins deserved it.
WWE RAW 29.05.2023 Results Part 1, AJ Styles Confronts Seth Rollins, Trish Attacks Becky Again, Indus Sher Appears
Seth also offered to shake hands with Styles which the former champion accepted. The Judgment Day interfered and they started mocking the two. At the end, The Judgment Day ended up challenging the duo in a tag team match which the babyface side accepted and it would feature on the main event of the show.
Match 1 – Money in the Bank Qualifying match – Ricochet defeated The Miz
This is the first Money in the Bank qualifying match of this year and it was book for a little longer than 5 minutes. The match was average and Ricochet earned an obvious victory. Of course you needed high flyers in ladder matches. Ricochet had to be the best option for such a match.
Seth Rollins And AJ Styles Were Challenged By The Judgement Day On RAW
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus came out to the arena next. She talked about her victory over Becky Lynch last saturday at Night of Champions. She also addressed Zoey Stark to helped her to achieve the victory. She said that she did not need this help, but Zoey wanted to help her. She then called out Zoey.
Zoey Stark came out to the arena. She said that she needed a shortcut for success and she did not have enough time like Becky Lynch had to struggle to earn success. So she teamed up with Trish so that can learn from her and earn success quickly unlike Becky Lynch.
Becky Lynch came out to the arena. She did not waste anytime in talks and challenged Trish in a match straight. She directly got into a fight with both Trish and Zoey but ultimately the numbers game was heavy on her. We were expecting someone to come out to help Becky but she got beaten down helplessly.
Match 2 – The Indus Sher defeated Enhancement Talents
Much like the previous week of WWE RAW, Indus Sher squashed two more enhancement talents this week. There performance was impressive but squash matches cannot describe you as a performer as such. One thing I must mention, why do these guys scream so much? This sounds a little awkward.
