It has been two months since WrestleMania 39 ended but the magic of the biggest event of the year is still present in the air of professional wrestling. It presented some of the biggest matches of the year including the epic Tag Team Championship showdown, Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns, and who can forget the iconic Smackdown Women’s Championship match.
WWE legend and Hall of Famer The Undertaker recently shared disappointment for not being able to attend The Biggest Event of the year. The presence of The Phenom would have made WrestleMania 39 even more iconic and if he could wrestle a match in the event, it could have been a dream come true.

WrestleMania 39 could not be addressed as an event which welcomed a lot of legends unlike previous year where the dream finally came true when wrestling legend Stone Cold Steve Austin made his iconic in ring after nineteen long years when he accepted the challenge of Kevin Owens.
There were rumours that legends like The Rock and Steve Austin would have been a part of this event but unfortunately, none of them were present. Even though, it was an excellent event overall. The Undertaker recently spoke to the Independent where he expressed his disappointment for not being able to attend the event;

“I’ve got to the point now where if I’m home, I’m fine. It’s when I do show up at a WWE event I get that ‘I should be getting ready’ feeling” said The Undertaker who is considered to be one of the biggest legends in the history of professional wrestling.
“At WrestleMania 39, I was there and I had my family and friends up in a suite watching the show and I kind of found myself rocking in my chair like, ‘oh, my gosh, I should be down there’. So in those instances, it’s there. It’s still in my heart and it’s in my brain.” Concluded The WWE Hall of Famer.
Every year, a lot of big names get linked with a sensational return at WrestleMania. Some of them actually come true and some remained of speculations only. Rumours and speculations have already started to raise for WrestleMania 40 but a surprise appearance of The Undertaker at the event would have been iconic.
