The current WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is currently one of the biggest prospects in WWE. She has been booked like a monster since last year and she is literally toying with her opponents these days. Surely she has an amazing future lying ahead of herself in WWE.
Not only in straight woman vs. woman matches, Rhea Ripley is pretty much successful in intergender angles as well. She dominated male wrestlers in WWE too. Last year she had an intergender match against Akira Tozawa where she completely destroyed the Japanese professional wrestler.

Breaking Barriers – Rhea Ripley Shares Thoughts On The Importance Of Intergender Matches In WWE
The Australian professional wrestler wants more intergender matches in WWE. Speaking with FOX 61 recently, the WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion cleared her mind about it and explained why there should be more mixed wrestling matches. Here is what The Nightmare had to say;
On whether WWE will do more intergender matches going forward: “I’m not too sure. So for me, I would like to see it just for the pure fact that I also love beating up the men.” Said the current WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion while discussing the importance of intergender matches.

On being able to interact with male WWE Superstars more: “I love showing them exactly who I am and proving my dominance. It’s a different kind of excitement for me because you get to see the fear in their eyes when they realize that they’ve taken you lightly. Like, they didn’t take you as a threat to begin with.”
During the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression Era, WWE used to book intergender matches pretty often. But after the introduction of the PG Era, these men vs. women matches were completely gone. Of course there were some random mixed matches but they were never competitive and women were totally protected.

To watch better intergender wrestling experience, fans have to look forward to wrestling beyond WWE. As long as you are only a fan of WWE, you have to understand one simple fact; women and men are equal, and that is why women can beat down men, but men cannot attack women. Equality everyone.
