Even though it was later confirmed that Jax’s release did not have anything to do with the covid-19 pandemic budget cut issue. There were some backstage issues that led to this release. After her departure from WWE, it looked like she would never return to WWE.
But WWE shocked the entire world when Nia Jax turned out to be one of the surprise entrants of the Women’s Royal Rumble match in the Royal Rumble PLE earlier this year. Jax received pretty strong booking in this match and it required a total of 11 eleven wrestlers to eliminate her.
Nia Jax Is Training In D-Von Dudley Academy (DDA) For An In Ring Return
Fans were confused if Jax has returned to WWE on a permanent basis. But she did not make any more appearances after her Royal Rumble appearance. So it was pretty clear that it was a one match return. One thing was also cleared that Jax could definitely return to WWE on a permanent basis soon.
WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley recently shared a Tweet showing Nia Jax training in his D-von Dudley Academy (DDA) and he wrote, “You never know who you will see at D-von Dudley Academy (DDA)as former WWE superstar Nia working with some of the students here at DDA. #DDA #wwe.”
Nia Jax did not work in any other promotion after her release from WWE in 2021. The only appearance she made since her release was her surprise appearance at Royal Rumble. As she has started to prepare for her in ring return, we are hoping to see her back in wrestling again.
