Former WWE star Ryback was a huge name during his time in the promotion. He had feuds with some of the biggest names of WWE during the time including the likes of CM Punk and John Cena. WWE had really big plans for this big man. Everybody expected him to win the World Championship in the near future.

But Ryback had a terrible backstage reputation and it was really getting in the way of his monster push. He was comparatively new in the roster of WWE and he was working with some of the biggest legends of the promotion. Such an attitude was not very well received by the wrestlers backstage.

The former Intercontinental Champion was not very respectful towards the legends of professional wrestling either. He was often compared to WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg for his physique and wrestling style and he had harsh for Goldberg as well. This attitude completely drained his image.

He was released from WWE back in 2016. He could have been one of the biggest names of WWE but he completely lost it. Recently, the former IC Champion appeared on Disco Inferno and Konnan’s K100 podcast where he explained what CM Punk had with him. Here is what he had to say;

“It’s unfortunate. Colt Cabana actually apologized to me for all of that. I worked with top guys my whole time, even no matter where I was at on the card, live events, I was with top guys from the beginning to end” Ryback concluded.

Ryback announced his retirement from in ring action back in 2018 but recently he announced his return to the world of wrestling and he made a challenge to Goldberg for his return match. Even though the match is very unlikely but it could have been a fun match.
