There is absolutely no denying that footballers are some of the most in-demand individuals in the world. Their wealth and huge popularity make girls around the world go crazy for them. But the same popularity could also backfire sometime and Brazilian superstar Neymar would agree with this.
His career would have been completely destroyed after he was falsely accused of rape and violence by model Najila Trindade Mendes. The footballing world was completely taken aback after those allegations came to light as the model went to television and alleged that she was a victim of rape and violence. She also released a video clip showing an altercation between the two.
Neymar, on the other hand, took to Instagram to release a video where he talked about the incident. He published Whatsapp messages and images that he claimed to be of the woman. The former Barcelona star said that he had to make the messages public to “prove that nothing really happened”.
Neymar stated that he met the woman online and paid for her trip to France. He also admitted that he and the model had consensual sex before the latter returned to Brazil and went to a police station to file complaint against him.

Things were looking nasty before a video released by Record TV made things crystal clear. The video showed Neymar and the model during some of the time in which the events occurred. In the video, the footballer could be seen lying on the bed while the woman places herself on top of him.
After a while, both of them got up before starting an altercation. The model could be seen attacking the footballer while he was still lying on the bed. She was slapping him before he pushed her with his legs. Fortunately for Neymar, he was cleared of all the charges while the lady was charged with fraud.
