Bianca Belair had been the longest reigning WWE RAW Women’s Champion who recently dropped her title to Asuka at Night of Champions PLE that took place at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia last month. Bianca automatically earned a title shot after dropping the title but it did not take place yet.
Last week on Smackdown, Adam Pearce requested Bianca Belair not to get into any kind of fight with Asuka and she would definitely get her rematch soon. Speaking of Asuka, she had her own celebration segment where she was presented with a new WWE Women’s Championship title.
Smackdown – Frustration Mounts: Bianca Belair Expresses Anger On Charlotte Flair Getting Immediate Title Shot After Return
During the segment, former fourteen times WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair made her return and directly challenged Asuka for the new WWE Women’s Championship. The match even got official on the same night and it would take place on the last episode of Smackdown before Money in the Bank.
But this decision caused frustration for the EST of WWE since she was first in the queue for the Championship. WWE on screen official Adam Pearce confirmed Bianca that she would also get her fair chance to compete for the WWE Women’s Championship, however, it is not confirmed when she would get her chance.
Bianca Belair Not Happy With Charlotte Flair’s Immediate Title Shot
“Been processing what went down last night. So let me get this straight. I did exactly what was asked of me. I agreed to let Asuka have her moment as long as I got my REMATCH JUST for Charlotte to come out, demand and get handed a REMATCH? ? Am I trippin or am I trippin?” She later added, “Well apparently we have rematches for different titles…So…Problem solved @ScrapDaddyAP ??♀️” Bianca wrote on Twitter regarding this matter.
A large number of fans are also unhappy to see Charlotte Flair instantly getting a title shot following her return. There are a big number of women that are not even getting proper booking, needless to say, all of them are pretty talented, and Charlotte Flair getting title opportunities in spite of not being a regular.
So why is Charlotte getting this title shot? We think it is pretty much related to the reason Asuka beating Bianca to win the title. Asuka won so that she can drop it to Charlotte and Charlotte can feud with Bianca. We can definitely accept this feud, but why does it have to be for the title? It seems every feud that Charlotte is in has to be for the title and rest of the roster is not even getting proper booking.
