The Empress of Tomorrow Asuka was involved in a feud with Bianca Belair after she earned the right to face her for the title at WrestleMania 39. The Japanese professional wrestler won the Elimination Chamber match that was scheduled to determine the no. 1 contender for the RAW Women’s Championship.
At WrestleMania 39, Bianca managed to master Asuka and retain her title over her. But the feud did not end here. The Empress of Tomorrow turned heel after this defeat and she challenged Bianca once again for the title at Night of Champions. This time Asuka did not fail, she defeated Bianca and snatched the title away from her ending her epic reign of 419 days.

Storyline Twist: Uncovering The Potential Reason Asuka Took the Title From Bianca Belair
This was a pretty shocking turn of event. Bianca went on to become the longest reigning RAW Women’s champion and everybody expected some new talent to get a massive push by dethroning her. Normally such long title reigns are built just to promote new stars.
But no such thing happened in this case. Asuka, who is a 41 year old female wrestler had nothing else to prove to the world of professional wrestling gets to dethrone Bianca. At first, it looked completely pointless and it seemed WWE had no plans on what to do with Bianca’s long title reign. Ultimately it turns out to be a completely meaningless title reign.

Did Asuka Won The Title Just To Drop It To Charlotte Flair?
But we can get at least one speculation on why The Empress of Tomorrow got the honor of ending such an epic reign. Before we continue, we must clarify that this is just our own speculation and we are not claiming it to be the fact. After the recent incidents, things are getting a little clearer on why Asuka got this shocking title reign.
Last week on Friday Night Smackdown, Charlotte Flair made her return and challenged for the new Women’s Championship. The match has also been made official. Majority of fans are not happy with this decision as everytime Charlotte remains active she is on the title picture.

In simple words, Asuka won the Championship just so she could drop it to Charlotte Flair and they could book a feud between Charlotte and Bianca Belair. This is all what we can see. A feud between this duo would be amazing but why does it have to be for the title? It seems Charlotte has some kind of clause in her contract that WWE has to keep her in the title picture as long as she is active.
