Bayley’s Take On The Fresh Women’s Championships: What Does The Former Champion Think?

Former three times WWE Women’s Champion Bayley recently shared her reaction for the new Women’s Championships that were introduced on the latest episodes of Smackdown and RAW. Bayley said that she loved the new designs of the titles but she would miss the previous titles too.

WWE repackaged their existing Women’s Championship on the latest episodes of Smackdown and RAW. Previously the title that was known as WWE Raw Women’s Championship will now be addressed as WWE Women’s Championship and the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship is now the Women’s World Championship.

Bayley’s Take On The Fresh Women’s Championships: What Does The Former Champion Think?

The designs of these titles are exact same as the WWE Universal championship and the World Heavyweight championship. The Women’s titles are just in white straps. Rest are completely same. Most of the fans are not happy with these designs as they are claiming them to be lazy designs.

Former three times WWE Women’s champion Bayley recently talked about these new designs. Bayley held both The Smackdown and raw Women’s titles and she said that she would miss the previous titles. Speaking on WWE’s The Bump recently, the former champion shared her opinion on these titles;

“They are beautiful,” Bayley said of the two new titles. “It’s sad to see the other ones go, but it’s definitely time for a change because the locker room has changed so much. The roster has grown so much. It’s kinda nice to see a brand new slate, you know? It reminds me of when they replaced the Divas Title and rebranded it to the Raw Women’s Title.”

“I’ve done pretty much everything, so this lights a fire in me — to want to see me raise those titles or to see IYO [SKY] raising one of those two titles.” Said Bayley expressing her desire to hold the new Women’s titles and to help Iyo Sky to have them.

So far it did not look like that these titles would get any different recognition from the previous ones. They just got rid of the brand specific Championship idea. The idea was heavily criticized by the fans and the critics. Finally, they are getting rid of the previous idea, and even if they do not treat the new titles differently, the names sound better and definitely more stronger than the previous ones.
