WWE SummerSlam is one of the major events of the promotion and it occasionally takes place during the month of August. This year the event is scheduled for August 5th and we are expecting a blast just like the other years. This event is considered as one of the four major events of WWE alongside Royal Rumble, survivor series, and WrestleMania.
Some matches have already been rumoured for this event. One of the biggest matches that are already rumoured for this years Biggest Party of the Summer is Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes III. This feus is going on since the first episode of Monday night RAW after WrestleMania 39 and we are expecting it to end by Summerslam.

The other big match that is rumoured for the event is for the WWE Universal Heavyweight championship where Roman Reigns would be defending his title against his cousin Jey Uso. This might be a rematch from 2020 but as of the things are going right now, this match looks very much possible.
The World Heavyweight Championship will surely be defended at the event, however there is no news or rumours about who would face whom at the event for the title. There is no confirmation on if Seth Rollins would walk in as the champion in the mentioned event.
NXT Champions Might Get To Work In Summerslam
According to recent reports from Boozer Rasslin, WWE is planning to book multiple matches featuring NXT Stars for the event. NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, and NXT Women’s champion Tiffany Stratton are reportedly defending their championships at the Biggest Party of the summer this year.
Carmelo Hayes is scheduled to defend his NXT Championship against former WWE United States champion Baron Corbin soon. Surely he is not going to drop his title to Corbin who had been treated mostly as a jobber for more than a year. There is no way he is going to take the title away from Hayes.
As for Tiffany Stratton, she looks to be a big future project of WWE as well. We are hoping her to keep retaining her Championship till SummerSlam. It would be a huge opportunity for both of these wrestlers to work in an event like SummerSlam as NXT champions. We wish all the best for their future.
