Backstage on Smackdown Iyo Sky was seen arguing with Bayley about her defeat where Bayley was trying to explain that she actually tried to help her. Shotzi joined the conversation and challenged Bayley to a match where she would have to put her Money in the Bank spot on the line. Iyo Sky accepted the challenge on behalf of Bayley and Bayley did not like it at all.
Next up was the Grayson Waller with Charlotte Flair being the special guest. She was asked about her upcoming title match and she was asked if she would become a 15 times champion in WWE. Flair said that if they would have to talk about numbers she had Asuka’s number.
WWE SmackDown 16.06.2023 Results Part 3, Bianca Confronts Charlotte, Big Mixed Tag Team Match
Bianca Belair interrupted her and entered the ring. She claimed that she should have been given the women’s Championship opportunity since she did not get the rematch after her defeat at Night of Champions. So how come Charlotte Flair got the opportunity just after returning?
Charlotte Flair said that she lost to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39 and she did not get a rematch either so did not it make both of them worthy of getting rematches? Bianca replied that she did not hide for three months after her defeat like Charlotte did and she kept on fighting for her opportunity.
Bianca Belair Threatens To Do Things Her Own Way
Charlotte said that she won the women’s title for 14 times and she did not run away from anything. She asked how much did Bianca achieved. Bianca said that she had been the longest reigning Women’s champion of the modern era and Charlotte should put some respect before her name. And ultimately the women’s title would come back to her.
Backstage Paul Heyman met Jey Uso and tried to explain to him that the super kick from Jimmy Uso last week was completely intentional because Jimmy does not miss. He did the same thing to Roman Reigns at Night of Champions. Jey said if he got back Heyman would still be out.
Match 3 – Scarlett and Karrion Kross defeated AJ Styles and Michin in a mixed tag team match
This could have been a great match but it was booked for only 2 minutes. The babyface side had more advantage throughout the match but at the end, Scarlett caused distraction for AJ and Karrion Kross was able to master Styles by pinning him. There were some intergender situation but women were protected throughout.
Backstage Cameron Grimes was being interviewed by Kayla Braxton. He was asked how much he was enjoying his time on SmackDown. When he was about to answer the question he got attacked by Baron Corbin from behind. So Corbin would now be involved in a two way feud.
