WWE Summerslam is one of the biggest events of WWE and it is considered as one of the four mega events of the promotion. Every year, WWE organizes this event on August with some action packed matches on the card. This year would be no different, on August 06th, WWE would be back with their 36th official Summerslam.
The event is often addressed as “The Biggest Event of the Summer. There are some big rumours about the event already as a huge match for the WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship is rumoured where the champion Roman Reigns would defend his title against his own cousin Jey Uso.

The feud is going on for over a month and it is getting heated up every week.
Another mega match is heavily rumoured for the event as Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar would end their iconic feud with a third huge clash. There are strong reports that WWE is considering a Bull Rope match between the duo and it also might be feud ending match between this iconic duo.
Huge Tag Team Match Championship Being Discussed For Summerslam
Latest reports suggest another potential mega match might be on the discussions among the WWE officials. According to reports from Boozer Rasslin, WWE might be considering a huge Tag Team Championship match where the current champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn would defend their titles against DIY.
Somebody on Twitter asked Boozer Rasslin, “Is the plan still diY vs Owens and Zayn at SummerSlam?” In order to reply to this question, the account wrote, “Might add 2 more teams. Still all early discussions.” They are pretty reliable so this huge match might actually be in discussions.
Rather than booking a Tag Team match, a simple two on two match would have been more impactful. DIY was one of the biggest Tag Teams of the NXT, it would have been a dream come true to see them working on the main roster. There are reports that they would team up soon.
