Backstage on RAW Maxxine Dupri and Otis were seen training and Chad Gable coaching them. Maxxine reminded everyone that she might not have a match yet but she has beaten down Valhalla every time she got into any kind of encounter with her. How long would we have to wait to see her getting into in ring action?
Match 5 – Finn Balor defeated NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes in a non title match

This was a pretty big match and it was booked for around six and a half a minutes. Surprisingly, it was a pretty easy and dominant win for Finn Balor. This was Carmelo Hayes’ first main roster match and we were not expecting him to lose in such a way. It was a clean win too.
The biggest question is, why did Finn receive such a strong victory? Would he be given the World Heavyweight title on Saturday? Definitely, this strong victory was given to him keeping his upcoming big clash in mind. We seriously hope he gets to win the WWE World Heavyweight title soon because he actually deserves it.
Finn Balor Dominates Carmelo Hayes And Defeats Him
Cody Rhodes was featured in a backstage segment where he talked about his match on the main event of the night where he would face Damian Priest. He also talked about Dominik Mysterio whom he would face at Money in the Bank. This promo did a good job in promoting his big match on Saturday.
Next up they showed a whole segment promoting The Bloodline Civil War match and reminding the matches that are scheduled for the event. They have so much time to kill but they cannot book the stars that are already on their roster. They can show the same story every week more than once, and other stars remain unbooked.
Match 6 – Cody Rhodes defeated Damian Priest
This was the rightful main event of the night and it indeed was a great match. It was booked for nearly 10 minutes and it had been extremely entertaining. Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley attempted to assist Damian Priest but it did not work very well. Cody at the end pinned Damian with the Cross Rhodes.
This might have been a very good match but Damian Priest was not the best opponent to job to Cody Rhodes tonight since he already has a big match coming on Saturday and he is one of the favourites to win men’s Money in the Bank. After the match, Dominik hit a cheap shot at Cody and escaped. Cody Rhodes stood tall inside the ring as this week’s RAW went off air.
