Trish Stratus is a WWE legend who was one of the biggest stars of the promotion throughout the Ruthless Aggression Era. She is a record seven times Women’s Champion and is considered as one of the top female stars the promotion has ever produced. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013.
She took her retirement from in ring action back in 2006 but she kept on making sporadic appearances throughout the time and recently, she returned to WWE on a full time basis. She had been working regularly since the month of March and she was even involved in a mega match at WrestleMania 39 where she teamed up with Lita and Becky Lynch to take on Damage CTRL.

But after the event, she turned on Becky Lynch turning heel in the process. She is doing a pretty good job as a villain and at Night of Champions, she faced Becky Lynch in a one on one contest which was nothing less than a dream match. She surprised everyone when she defeated Becky Lynch in the mentioned match.
In order to defeat the former six times Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, she required help from Zoey Stark who was one of the latest NXT call ups who got drafted to Monday Night RAW. Speaking with Cathy Kelley on WWE’s The Bump, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed what was the origin of her partnership with Zoey Stark;

“Basically you saw us come together on ‘Raw,'” said the Attitude Era icon. “She was drafted to ‘Raw’ and I had my eye on her. But who wouldn’t? If you look at potential in the future generation, she was the obvious choice. When she comes on-screen, what stands out with her? What do people see? They see power, they see intrigue. She dominates, she’s confident. She’s got a great set of biceps, I’ll tell you that. Strong, smart, what else can you ask for in a superstar?”
Zoey Stark who was also present in the segment revealed, “She has been teaching me every little trick in the book,” shared the rookie. “How to prepare yourself, how to be ready at all times, how to handle these so-called superstars like Becky Lynch. She’s a great mentor and a great leader.”
Both Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark would be entering the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match this Saturday. This would be the first Ladder match of Trish’s career so it would be pretty exciting to see her working in the mentioned match. Becky Lynch would also be working in the match so we are expecting this mega feud to continue.
