Next up on RAW was a comedy segment featuring the Alpha Academy where Maxxine Dupri was treated as a graduate of the Academy. The three members of the Academy celebrated and the fans in the arena appreciated Maxxine by a big margin. Chad Gable announced to present Maxxine with their signature jacket.
As he was about to put the jacket on Maxxine, the music of the Viking Raiders hit. The Alpha Academy was getting ready for a fight. Maxxine was standing behind them. Valhalla entered the ring from behind and attacked Maxxine. She took her jacket and escaped the ring. The Viking Raiders did not get into any fight and left. This was a fun segment booked by WWE.
WWE RAW 10.07.23 Results Part 3, Cody Rhodes Addresses Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey Attacks Shayna Baszler, Alpha Academy Celebration
Match 3 – Shayna Baszler defeated Emma
This was more of a squash match where Shayna earned a pretty easy victory over Emma. It took only one and a half minutes for Shayna to make Emma submit with the Kirifuda Clutch. Emma might have been squashed in this match but we are happy that at least she got some booking.
Cody Rhodes Addresses Brock Lesnar
After the match, Ronda Rousey appeared. She came into the ring and attacked Shayna straight. The duo started fighting each other in MMA style. This time Ronda got the better of her former Tag Team partner. Shayna had to escape to avoid getting hurt by the deadly Cross Armbar of Ronda.
This was a little bit confusing to be honest. Whom are we supposed to cheer for and whom are we supposed to boo? Last week it seemed like Shayna would be the face and Ronda was the heel. But this week it seemed the exact opposite. Now it looks like Shayna would keep on working as a heel, which seems a little logical too.
The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes came out to the ring next. He started his promo by appeasing the home crowd of Buffalo. It took a little while for him to start talking about his current Rival Brock Lesnar. At first, he informed that Brock Lesnar was not here tonight but he would be on RAW by next week.
Cody compared the problems of our life with Brock Lesnar. Every problem like a terrible boss or anything like that is a Brock Lesnar. Ultimately he ended up challenging Brock Lesnar in a match at SummerSlam which we are expecting to get confirmed by next week when Brock appears to answer the call.
