This week WWE produced another average show of RAW where once again they ignored making exciting feuds for the current championships on RAW. Women’s World Championship was once again terribly booked, with no excitement for the World Heavyweight Championship either.
The only good things about tonight’s show were the no DQ match between The Miz and Tommaso Ciampa, and the six man tag team match which was the main event of the night. However, there was no excitement for either of these matches whatsoever. Ciampa losing, for whatever reason it may be, is not a good look for him. Maybe next week Johnny Gargano would appear to stand by Ciampa’s side.
WWE RAW 10.07.2023 – The Good, The Bad, And Unforgettable: Ups & Downs From The Show
The main event of the night was a good match but it really did not look like that anybody is interested in the Judgement Day implosion storyline. They have killed the craze of Sami Zayn as well. It looks like they would kill LA Knight’s fame very soon as well. The Tag Team Champions team up with the world heavyweight champion tonight to face a defeat by the hands of the Judgement Day.
Speaking of the Tag Team champions, there was no proper segment for the Tag Team Championship tonight either. Last week they remained missing, this week they were present, had a match, still there was no proper booking for the Tag Team championships. We are not going to criticize it very much but things have to get better in the future.
No World Heavyweight Title Picture Is Certain For Summerslam
But the World Heavyweight Championship picture has to improve. Ever since its existence, there is no excitement for it at all. The RAW creative team is doing it terrible job so far. We can understand it is not possible for the World Heavyweight title to get as much hype as the Universal title. But they are not putting in enough effort to make it a big deal either. Things seriously have to change in case of the World Heavyweight title as well.
There is no improvement in the Women’s World Championship either. If you look at the women’s title pictures on both SmackDown and RAW simultaneously, the red brand is doing so badly that you won’t believe that they are from the same promotion. Tonight, only one minute was given for the Women’s World title where Rhea Ripley threatened Raquel Rodriguez to stay out of her business, and that’s it.
Overall it would feel more like a time waste if you spend 3 hours on tonight’s RAW. It is pretty unfortunate that the show is getting worse week after week. Finally it seems like Vince McMahon is back in the business. But on the other hand, SmackDown is doing pretty well. We hope the Monday Night show of WWE starts doing better soon.
