Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar is having a mega feud since the very first episode of Monday Night RAW after WrestleMania 39. The two were scheduled to team up against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa but the match never took place as Brock Lesnar betrayed Cody and beat him down
The duo had two matches in total so far. Their first match took place at the Backlash PLE in which Cody shocked the entire world by pinning Brock Lesnar and snatching a big victory from this match. The feud continued as the duo faced each other once again at Night of Champions. Cody had a big disadvantage prior to this match as he got attacked and beaten down by the Beast before the event.

At Night of Champions, Cody not only lost but Brock Lesnar totally dominated him. But he was not medically cleared to compete to this defeat did not affect his career much. Needless to say, it was all kayfabe. After the event, Brock Lesnar did not appear for over a month as Cody had a new feud with Dominik Mysterio.
Cody faced Dominik Mysterio in a mega match at Money in the Bank where the American Nightmare completely destroyed Dominik Mysterio. Brock Lesnar appeared on the very next night of Monday Night RAW and the duo fought again. It is pretty much certain that they would have a big match at SummerSlam. Wrestling legend Bubba Ray Dudley recently said that he would love to see Brock submitting to Cody in this upcoming match at SummerSlam. Speaking on “Busted Open” the Tag Team Legend said;
Cody Rhodes Issued Challenge To Brock Lesnar At Summerslam
“I think we need to see Cody Rhodes pin Brock Lesnar or submit Brock Lesnar,” Bully said. “Because if Cody Rhodes is going to go on to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, Cody Rhodes is going to have to pin Roman Reigns or submit Roman Reigns.
“And what better foundation to stand on for those future promos when Roman says to Cody Rhodes, ‘What makes you think you can beat me? What makes you think you can beat “The Tribal Chief?”‘ Cody turns around and says, ‘I’m the guy that pinned “The Beast.”‘”
Fans were expected to see Brock Lesnar appearing at Money in the Bank after or during Cody’s match. But WWE planned it for the next night of RAW. Last Monday, Brock Lesnar did not appear on RAW but Cody issued a challenge for Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and we are expecting to see this match getting official by next week of RAW.
