Cody Rhodes please return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 last year as the surprising opponent for Seth Rollins. This was the first time in his whole career that he got treated as a main event star in a main stream wrestling promotion. Overall he is doing a wonderful job on the main event scene of WWE.
He started the journey with a feud against Seth Rollins. Everybody expected this feud ended after three back to back wins for Cody but fans are now realising that this rivalry is still going on, just in a little different way. This time they are fighting to be the top star of WWE Monday Night RAW. Seth Rollins is holding the World Heavyweight Championship whereas Cody is already a top star.

The simple mathematics would suggest that Rollins should be the face of RAW since he is the World Heavyweight Champion. But to be honest he is not receiving a very good treatment as a champion as there is not enough hype for the World Heavyweight Championship, until now. Cody’s segments are still being treated better than Seth’s ones.
But we can definitely expect that the situation for the World Heavyweight Championship would definitely improve in the near future. It is just the beginning so we cannot expect a last from the very first day. Speaking with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Cody Rhodes discussed his current battle with Seth Rollins to be the top guy on Monday Night RAW,

“One of my favorite things and I think one of the reasons why I have been in the best position I’ve been in my career is because on the same show I compete with a guy, the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, every week, and it’s not negative. He would like to be the Raw face, and I would like to be the Raw face.
I don’t know, some weeks, maybe we trade it off, but that is what makes this good. Competition is what makes this good, and I needed to compete against the very best. Seth, I say he’s top three, one of the very best, Roman being one of the very best, that’s what been able to bring out the very best in me.”
Fans are expecting to see the feud between Cody and Seth restarts after SummerSlam for the World Heavyweight championship. Both of them have big challenges waiting for them at the Biggest Party of the Summer. But after the event, the duo getting involved in a new feud would definitely be quite exciting, and things would make even more fun if the feud is for the World Heavyweight title.
