Former WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin recently returned to the NXT and he is doing quite well in the development territory of WWE upon his return. He challenged for the NXT championship and it looks like he would now continue to be a main event star in the NXT.
Corbin was having a terrible time in the main roster lately. But nobody forgot what an amazing run he had before this terrible time. He was the wrestler who pinned Roman Reigns in 2019 before he went unpinned for three and a half years. But unfortunately he turned out to be a hardcore jobber in the recent years.

Fans were not very happy with the way he was treated on the main roster recently. But he was sent back to the NXT last month and he is now active in the development territory once again. Baron Corbin recently talked about returning to the NXT and his vision. He also thanked Shawn Michaels for giving him a chance. Speaking on WWE’s “After the Bell” podcast, he said;
On returning to NXT: “I saw that as a place where I could make some changes in myself and my career and that was the plan going in, and I think it’s been a successful execution of that plan.”

On Shawn Michaels giving him freedom to explore his latest character change: “He is letting me do me in a sense, and then sculpting what I bring to him versus handing me, ‘Hey, this is what we’re doing, this is where you’re going, this is who we want you to be.’
“He’s going, ‘Hey, man, you’ve been around the block. What do you want to do? Where do you want to take this? What can we do for you, in a sense of, creative outlet and opportunities.’ He’s let me kind of take the ball and run with it.” concluded the former WWE United States champion.
There is no doubt that Baron Corbin is one of the most talented wrestlers in WWE and if he is given the right chance he would definitely improve. We are hoping to see him winning more championships and dominate on the main roster once again. Hopefully he would become a main event star in the future.
