This week’s RAW did a good job in promoting the upcoming SummerSlam event that is scheduled for this Saturday. We were expecting a bigger match card for SummerSlam but it got stuck in only eight matches. After a long time we did not get to see any promotion on RAW for Roman Reigns – Jey Uso feud and we must give credit to WWE for such a bold decision.
There was nothing overly exciting about the night. Definitely, there were some good matches as well as some fun segments, but it did not offer anything new. They did waste time with two long video footages to promote the Ronda Rousey – Shayna Baszler match for SummerSlam. Once again the complaint remained the same, why there is no booking for the rest of the women?

Maxxine Dupri finally made her singles in ring debut and it was quite bad. We would not say she is the worst wrestler in WWE right now but she still needs to improve. She should have work in NXT to get better in ring skills before joining the main roster. Her arm drags did not improve from the very first day she did it. And by the way, where are the Maximum Male Models?
We were expecting at least two more matches on SummerSlam but it looks like the matches got cancelled. The Women’s World Championship match was previously rumoured for SummerSlam but it is not happening at the event anymore. Maybe there are too many matches from RAW and that was the reason these matches did not get added into the event.
Sami Zayn Teamed Up With Seth Rollins On RAW Last Night
Gunther vs. Chad Gable was arguably the best match of the night. The Ring General almost faced his first main roster defeat tonight. The overall segment was excellently booked, but it is pretty unfortunate that Chad Gable would never be given a proper mid card push in WWE. His in ring work is just fascinating.
The main event of the night was pretty good but at the end of the day, it was pretty much pointless. Since Kevin Owens is now suffering a big injury why is Sami Zayn not vacating his half of the Tag Team titles? The world heavyweight championship match for SummerSlam got a good boost, however.
But still, there is no proper feud for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Whatever families in are doing right now, he could do it all without the titles as well. Triple H is doing a good job to boost the TV ratings and viewership, but his product lacks a lot of qualities. It is reported previously that he short cards only. If so, why did he sign so many talents and not using them at all?
