Indian veteran wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik hailed Pakistan’s fast-bowling sensation, Haris Rauf as one of the best bowlers in world cricket. The 29-year-old made it into International cricket following his impressive performance in tennis ball cricket.
Haris Rauf has played 1 Test, 22 ODIs, and 62 T20s for Pakistan, and has become the leading pacer for Pakistan along with Shaheen Shah Afridi. Rauf is known for his sheer pace and performed exceptionally well for the Men in Green in the provided opportunities and has been plying trade in franchise cricket around the globe.
Speaking on the Skysports Cricket, Dinesh Karthik lauded the Pakistan speedster Haris Rauf for his rise in the game as they made his way into the Pakistan team from playing the tennis ball cricket and hailed him as one of the best white-ball bowlers in the world at the moment, especially in the death overs.

“Few years ago he was playing tennis ball cricket. Gets picked up by the Qalandars, becomes a part of their team, and academy, and then goes on to play the league and then has obviously gone on to do so well for Pakistan. He is arguably one of the better white ball bowlers going around in world cricket now, especially at the death,” Haris Rauf said.
Haris Rauf is arguably the fastest bowler in world cricket currently alongside Mark Wood, as he can provide crucial breakthroughs for the team in the middle overs.

Blessed with pace, Rauf has the ability to nail Yorkers at will. He also has the ability to bowl well-directed bouncers that could make things tough for batters in the middle and final overs of the game and he would crucial player for the Men in Green going into the ODI World Cup 2023.
The marquee 50-over event is scheduled to be held in India this year and Pakistan will definitely be one of the contenders for the title. The Men in Green have not won the World Cup since clinching their maiden title way back in 1992. Since then, they have made it to the final just once in 1999, and are still looking to win their second World Cup title.
