Smackdown continued as Shotzi’s music hit and this time it was not Waller who was playing any prank. Shotzi’s signature tank showed up. Bayley sent Iyo to take care of whoever it was. As Iyo left the ring to check on the person on the tank, Shotzi finally showed up with her new look. She shaved her hair. We all know the real reason behind it though. They did a very good job of converting it into a storyline.
Bayley turned her face and she was really scared of seeing Shotzi. But still, she attempted to attack her, Shotzi hit her back and grounded her. Then Shotzi took out a Trimmer. Bayley escaped and Shotzi chased her with a scary psycho laughter. She would play a psycho gimmick as it seems like. The person on the tank was revealed to be Zelina Vega.

WWE Smackdown 05.08.2023 Results Part 3, Shotzi Returns With New Look, Iyo Sky In Action, Jey Uso Vs, Solo Sikoa
Match 4 – Zelina Vega defeated Iyo Sky
This match was booked for only 3 minutes and it was yet another defeat for Miss Money in the Bank. The victory for Vega was not very difficult and she did not have to fight very long or hard to earn this big victory. She managed to pin the former two times WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with her finisher Code Red.

Shotzi Attacks Bayley After Returning With New Look
But why is Iyo Sky losing all of her matches? Since she is holding the Money in the Bank contract, she should be built as a Championship material. She lost to Charlotte Flair two weeks ago, now she lost to Vega again. This booking decision was pretty questionable.
Next up was another promo package for the upcoming triple threat match for the WWE Women’s Championship where Asuka would defend her title against Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair. Different video packages were shown promoting all three stars. But none of them appeared in tonight’s show physically.

Match 5 – Jey Uso defeated Solo Sikoa
This was the main event of the night and it was booked for seven minutes. This was a pretty competitive match but we would not call it the best match of the night since Sheamus vs. LA Knight put up an excellent contest on the opening segment of the show. But this match was also pretty fun and did a great job to promote the main event of SummerSlam.
Solo was built pretty strongly throughout the match but at the end he could not answer The Uso Splash. Jey pinned him with this very move. It is not very common to see Solo losing a match. After the match, Solo attacked Jey again but this time Jey fought back and grounded him using a steel chair. Jey Uso stood tall as this week’s SmackDown went off air.
