SummerSlam is the Biggest Event of the Summer of WWE and this year it came up with some excellent 5 star quality matches. Not all the matches were loved by the fans but most of them were white fun and some could even be remembered for ages. The event might not go down as one of the best events of 2023 but it was a good event overall.
According to reports from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the former 10 times WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar would take time off after his defeat at the hands of Cody Rhodes last Saturday. The duo had an excellent feud which continued for four long months.

Last Saturday the duo faced each other for the third and final time. It was one each before their final battle and after Cody Rhodes won at SummerSlam, the feud is now officially won by the American Nightmare. It was an excellent feud and it would definitely go down as one of the best feuds of 2023.
So Brock Lesnar would not be appearing for a while now. But we can expect him to return by Survivor Series since it is one of the four big events of WWE, he could also return at Royal Rumble. Whenever he returns, seeing Brock Lesnar in action is always a delight and he is definitely one of the most entertaining wrestlers of the industry.
Brok Lesnar And Ronda Rousey Both Lost Their Matches At Summerslam
Dave Meltzer also reported on Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the former three times WWE Women’s champion Ronda Rousey would be taking time off too and she is not “expected back at any specific date,” as per reports from the mentioned site. Ronda Rousey was involved in a feud with Shayna Baszler recently.
At SummerSlam, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler faced each other in an MMA style match where the former three times WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion defeated Ronda Rousey by knockout. It is also rumored that Shayna would receive a big push following this huge victory.
There are no confirmed reports currently but we are expecting to see the current WWE Universal Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns taking a time off as well. It was rumoured earlier that he might take time off after this event, even though there is no concrete news on this story yet.
