Backstage on RAW, Shinsuke Nakamura was being interviewed but a crashing sound was heard from the other side. Sami Zayn was a scene being attacked by JD McDonagh. This match was booked for nearly 4 minutes and it did a very good job to process two new storylines. The first one was between Kaiser and Maxxine which looks to be white fun so far, and the next one for the Intercontinental Championship between Gunther and Chad Gable. Both of the stories are looking quite fun at this moment.
Otis dominated most part of the match but Kaiser earned the cheeky victory as Giovanni Vinci and Gunther helped him to get this win. Good to see Kaiser finally getting something. This German lad is really talented. and the way Samantha Irvin announced Kaiser’s name after he won the match was so funny.
LA Knight Appears To Confront The Miz
After the match, The Imperium attacked Otis and started beating him down. Chad Gable came out to help his partner and Imperium left the ring. For some reason, they wanted to avoid the fight because it would not have been difficult for three men to take down one. This feud can be pretty exciting, we believe this should go on to Payback.
Backstage it was informed by Seth Rollins that Sami Zayn would not be able to compete tonight. He was getting interviewed by Jackie Redmond. Shinsuke Nakamura joined him and offered him his favour. Seth Rollins accepted it and now the King of Strongstyle would replace Sami Zayn in the main event of the night.
The Miz came out to the arena. He made a similar kind of promo where he demanded respect and save that he was being disrespected by everyone. He then mentioned LA Knight and claimed that he disrespected him too, not only tonight but in the Battle Royal and SummerSlam as well.
LA Knight came out to the arena and he received an amazing ovation from the fans. The Miz explained what he had been doing in the last 20 years and why he deserved respect. He then asked what Knight was doing. Knight got a very good promo but there was a botch which should have never happened.
