Ever since Triple H became the Head of Creative of WWE, he has brought back a lot of WWE stars including former champions that were previously released from the promotion. The list includes some of the biggest names of the promotion such as Bray Wyatt and Karrion Kross. With time passing by, he kept on bringing more and more stars back.
According to the latest reports from various media sources, another top star is coming back to WWE who got released from the promotion during the covid-19 pandemic days. The rumoured name is the former WWE Raw Women’s champion Nia Jax who got released from WWE back in 2021.
Nostalgia Meets Anticipation: WWE Universe Awaits Former Champion’s Potential Return
Here is what PW Insider wrote about this rumour; “There were some rumblings over the last few days of a potential Nia Jax return within the company. We have not heard she is at Raw but at least a few different sources noted they had heard her name being mentioned of late. Jax made a one-night return at the 2023 Royal Rumble. We’ll update if we hear anything additional.”
Nia Jax was one of the top stars of WWE during her time in the promotion and she has always been treated as one of the strongest wrestlers of the promotion. She has won multiple championships in the promotion including WWE Raw Women’s Championship which is simply going by the name of WWE Women’s Championship now.
WWE Might Bring Nia Jax Back
When she left WWE in 2021, it never seemed she would ever return to the promotion again. But the unthinkable actually happened when she made her return at Royal Rumble 2023 as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. She did not survive in the match for long but she received a very strong booking.
The fans expected that she might have returned on a permanent basis but it was just a one match return and she was not seen in the promotion after that. Nia Jax returning to WWE would have been an excellent news for the fans and it would definitely add strength to the women’s division of the promotion.
But there is one issue with this potential return. The women’s division of WWE is extremely messed up and the only thing that Triple H is not being able to manage properly is the women’s division. She has already signed a lot of talent but he is hardly been able to book any of them. Who is it a good decision to bring in another woman will most of the women on their roster remain unbooked? That would be a matter of debate.
