Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods made their return on Last Monday on RAW. Former WWE Tag Team Champions The Viking Raiders issued an open challenge after the end of their long running feud with the Alpha Academy. This Open challenge was answered by one of the best tag teams in professional wrestling history, The New Day.

The New Day was created back in WWE with a big victory over The Viking Raiders. The fans are believing in the fact that they would dominate the Tag Team division of WWE once again. Kofi Kingston recently appeared on WWE’s The Bump where he recently talked about his return along with Xavier Woods on Monday Night RAW. Here is what he had to say;

Fan Favorite Kofi Kingston Returns: What He Has to Say About His RAW Experience

“It felt incredible, it felt amazing,” Kingston said. “It was weird because when me and Woods walked into the building, we both got this almost like anxiety, you know what I’m saying? Just walking in and being back into the fold. I have never been out of action for as long as I was, I think it was almost five months to the day. I think I got hurt on March 3, then I had my surgery on 3/16. I’d just not been out for that long.

“So it was a little bit strange to back in the fold and in the locker room. Of course, it’s always business as usual, the world always goes on when you’re not there in the terms of WWE. It felt good, it felt good to be just back home. So yeah, definitely excited to be back.”

Kofi Kingston Returned To WWE Along With Xavier Woods Last Monday On RAW

“So it was a little bit strange to back in the fold and in the locker room. Of course, it’s always business as usual, the world always goes on when you’re not there in the terms of WWE. It felt good, it felt good to be just back home. So yeah, definitely excited to be back.”

“Myself and Woods, we are looking forward to just re-infecting the WWE Universe with the power of positivity,” Kingston said. “As we all know, there’s a lot of hate going on. With The Usos, I don’t know whether to call them The Hurt Business or not, Dawkins and Tez? What is going on? We leave for five months, and all of the sudden, everybody, all this anger is going on, man. So we must gotta re-infect the WWE Universe with that power of positivity once again.”

“Yeah, honestly, it was like riding a bike,” Kingston said. “Just having been away from the ring for that long, you always have these questions in the back of your mind. ‘Oh, am I gonna forget how to do this? Are the people gonna forget who I am?’ You know what I mean? Especially with my ankle injury, am I still gonna be able to do what I do? Am I still gonna be able to move around well out there?

“But fortunately, the WWE Universe has a way of just making all the pain and everything go away. As soon as you walk through those curtains, you don’t feel anything pain-wise. There’s such a rush of adrenaline, and you go out there and you do what you do. So that’s what we did. It was fantastic, it was incredible.”

Triple H might have done and excellent work to rebuild the main event division of WWE and fixing the ratings and viewership issues. But he is doing a terrible job in some of the sections. Apart from managing the women’s division, he is not doing a very good job in the Tag Team division either after Sami – KO vs. The Usos feud ended. We hope they fix these issues soon.
