The Hardcore Legend Mick Foley was one of the valuable assets of the famous WWE Attitude Era, the time period that is widely believed as the best time period in WWE history. The Attitude Era is mostly remembered for a lot of things including the legendary rivalries. Mick Foley himself remained involved in some ground breaking rivalries.
One of the best rivalries of the Attitude Era was a massive faction vs. faction rivalry between D Generation X and The Nation of Domination. It is very rare to see proper faction vs. faction feuds since there are not enough factions these days. But back then, these gang wars were pretty common and a lot of fun.

One of those amazing gang wars was The Nation of Domination vs. DX. Not only it was an excellent feud but very entertaining feud as well. Mick Foley, who was an active worker of WWE during the time recently remembered this epic feud. Speaking on the latest episode of his ‘Foley is Pod’ Podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer said;
“Oh man, before Jason [Sensation] gets written out in the retelling of it, Jason could never get the green card. And he’s worked with me on at least a couple dozen of my events in Canada because he just does such a spot on job for so many of the guys. He did great, he didn’t look like Owen, but he was like, what am I a road sign?

“And even though some of the jokes are a little hokey and have been told before, he goes, it must, it must be nice when he goes, I can get up in the morning and smell the coffee in Brazil. That’s tremendous. This is one. Now when you look at the guys in blackface, three of ’em, you’re like, Ooh, I don’t think we’re supposed to do that anymore. But it wasn’t meant, I mean, it was meant to be entertaining.
“It wasn’t, it was meant to, it achieved its goal. It was extremely entertaining. The blackface doesn’t age well, no, at all in today’s, in today’s era. But, I mean, it showed off some chops for Triple H, you know, did a tremendous Rock video. You should have smelled what the Rock was cooking. I’m not faking. I should have smelled what the rock was baking. It was really, well, it was, it was really memorable. And nobody does the parodies like professional wrestling does.”

DX was the babyface faction led by Triple H whereas Nation of Domination was the heel side led by The Rock. This was the early days of both of these two legendary wrestlers. This is also the origin of the iconic rivalry between The Rock and Triple H. DX vs. Nation of Domination would always be remembered as one of the top feuds of the Attitude Era.
