Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq feels that the Men in Green should stick to the same playing 11 even if they lose the game against arch-rivals India on Saturday. Babar Azam-led side has been ranked as the No.1 ODI team in the World following their consistent performance in the 50-over format of the game.
“See, the current Pakistan XI is well-balanced. You have proper batters and all-rounders in the middle order. You have full strength in pace and spin attack. You have everything. You should have the same team, this is the best combination. Even if we lose the match against India, you shouldn’t be changing the current team. This is the best team we have,” Abdul Razzaq said.
Pakistan has one of the most lethal bowling attacks in world cricket, as they have got Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Shaheen Afridi in the pace bowling, with all-rounder Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz taking the spin bowling duty for the team in Asia Cup 2023, while Iftikhar Ahmed also a roll in some overs in the middle if required.

In the opening game against Nepal, Pakistan bowlers were brilliant with the ball right from the start of the innings, as Shaheen Afridi was exceptional with new ball picking up 2 crucial wickets in the 1st over, while the Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan rattled the Nepal batters in the middle to wrap off the things for their side 23.4 overs to register their first victory in the league stage.
The Men in Green put on a dominating show against Nepal in the group stage on their home soil, which acted as a preparation ground for the team before the high-octane India match. Babar Azam-led side will look to come over the top against India after putting up some impressive performance in the ODI format of the game.
