The story of this transfer window, Paul Pogba, is finally set to make a move to the Premier League with less than 10 days left for the start of the next season.
Jose Mourinho, the new manager at Old Trafford is desperate for the French sensation’s signature this summer and is ready to meet a world record fee to get him back to a club that rejected him a few years ago.
The 23-year old midfielder has grown on to become one of the best in his position in Europe since leaving Manchester United for Juventus and has helped the Italian side to consecutive Serie A title in his time in Italy.
He was also superb in the EURO16 where he took his team to the finals only to lose out on a goal in extra-time. Ever since, he has been on the radar of the Old Trafford outfit with rumors also linked him with a move to Real Madrid.
However, all such rumors are set to be put aside with stories now coming out that the French midfielder will have his medical ahead of a move to Manchester City in Los Angeles.
Though the player is happy to move, a medical scheduled a few days before was canceled because of a misunderstanding between the two clubs and the player’s agent Mino Raiola.
It is now revealed that Mino Raiola, the agent of the French sensation will now receive £24m from this deal, with United paying him £20m and Juventus paying the remaining £4m.
The rest of the details in the deal are said to be already agreed between the Italian and the English club and it is just a matter of time before Paul Pogba makes the world record move back to his former club.
Latest reports also suggest that a deal worth £112m has been stuck, making it the most expensive transfer in the history of the game. France Football and L’Equipe journalist Nabil Djellit, revealed that the medical will happen today and that a move will be completed before the weekend.
He tweeted yesterday evening saying: “Paul #Pogba is ideal to pass a medical examination for #ManUtd, in the direction of #LosAngeles…? #Mercato.”
Here is the tweet:
#Pogba vient d'atterrir à #LosAngeles… il est 13 h 36 heure locale… #Mercato #Manutd

Let’s hope that the story does not take any longer to reach the climax.
