According to reports in France, Italian giants Napoli are lining up a £17 million bid for Manchester United target Adam Ounas.
The French-Algerian footballer plays as an attacking midfielder and is known for his fine passing in the final third. He has emerged as one of the best French young attackers last season after breaking into the first team at Bordeaux.
He is an excellent dribbler and scored a goal every 262 minutes in his debut season and have played an important role in the build up as he has magnificent ball control.
The 19-year old, who made his debut for Bordeaux in October 2015, has finished last season with 23 appearances for the club which has drawn attention from Manchester United.
But Bordeaux are keen to hold on to their prized possession as they want to have the player up their ranks going into the new season.
According to L’Equipe, Napoli are ready to test the club’s resolve to retain him with a formal bid for his services.
The Italian giants are willing to offer £12.7 million up front with the further £4.3 million in performance-related add-ons as they look to sign him to a five-year contract.
Getting a player like Ounas for just as little as £17 million in an inflated market courtesy of Premier League clubs would be a bargain for Napoli as Manchester United look less interested as they have already signed few world-class players going into the new season.
