Liverpool were been one of the busiest clubs in the recent transfer market.
They managed to add the likes of Sadio Mane, Georginio Wijnaldum, Marko Grujic, Joel Matip and Loris Karius among other to their squad and have made it a stronger one from the year before.
However, the real work for Klopp was trying to get rid of all the deadwood in the squad that is of no value to the club in the current Premier League season.
A number of stars left on big money moves with the likes of Joe Allen, Jordan Ibe and Christian Benteke leaving the club permanently.
The likes of Mario Balotelli were sold for free while the likes of Jon Flanagan and Lazar Markovic flew away on loans.
But one player who was completely left without a contract at the club was former star defender Jose Enrique.

He moved to Liverpool from Newcastle Untied back in 2011 for £7m and was a decent acquisition for the next couple of years.
However, his drastic dip in form saw him fall out of favor and make just 6 appearances in the last three season of his career at the club.
The 30-year old made 99 appearances for the Reds over the years but was not able to find his place in the squad after fellow Spaniard Alberto Moreno and Scouser Jon Flanagan started to take the left back spot under Brendan Rodgers.
He is still a decent defender who got his chances in cup games in the previous season for Liverpool but with Klopp deciding he is not worth it, he has not found a new home for his football.

As a free agent, Jose Enrique has officially joined Spanish outfit Real Zargoza on a two year deal which will give him a chance to prove himself before quitting the game.

It is an interesting signing for the La Liga outfit as Enrique has not had enough game time recently and will take time to get back into first team action.
Do you think Liverpool should have kept hold of Enrique especially with the problems at the left-back spot for the club?
